Am I Right or wrong?

@Catherine @Hereandhere - That is patience!

@Hereandhere and @Day-by-Day - I’m wondering how you ask the question? I just say - I’m going to the pool or fill in the blank, do you want to come with me?

I too don’t know how long I can do it, but I guess I will persevere. I’m 8 years into it and it’s finally going in a better direction so I will hold on to that.

Sometimes I say that or sometimes I say, “Do you know what I would love?!-To go to the pool with you this afternoon!” or “How about if you and I go for a walk at Innis Woods today?” etc…etc…So far he will go to the gym or walk in the woods anytime I ask —the pool I think has more to do with his lack of self confidence in how he looks in trunks (which he looks fine) BUT he has a different image of himself he says he has man-boobs…lol…he does not at all…but you can’t convince him of it. I am still working on it. I had hoped he would draw courage from me as I am heavy and I was very self conscious but I fought through it, I still get anxious but I keep working through it…I don’t think he is drawing on my example…yet. Another unrelated example…My son has two pairs of Nike shoes and I try to get him to switch up…so they last longer…one pair is black the other is white so summer is here and he was still wearing the black shoes and jokingly said, "did you forget to switch to your summer shoes?! -nothing…a week later…still no summer shoes huh? -nothing- another week…those shoes will wear out fast of you wear them all year…why not give them a break for a few months? -nothing-…last week…he comes downstairs with is white shoes on…I said "Yay! summer shoes! awesome! he grinned at me…

It isn’t very high statistically the amount of people with schiz that work. It makes me question if these doctors are really dealing with reality when they say you need to work. I think it can be unfair to the person with schiz based on the way they feel
