What you said makes perfect sense about the spiritual and physical. I always think about the verse that we I will continue to pray for the best approach. This reminds me of the verse that says something like we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against spiritual wickedness.

My sonās eyes appeared ārolled upā when in pychosis as well. Iāve actually posted about this on here before but no in one else had seen this in their loved ones with SZ. I liken it to what is referred to as āYin Sanpaku eyesā. The closest thing I can find online to what his eyes look like is this picture of Syd Barrett from the band Pink Floyd, who coincidentally was believed to have had SZ. It is definitely unnerving when my sonās eyes do this because they are not like this at all normally.

I just wanted to say that this is the first thing on the internet I have found that is relatable to what I went through. I was also diagnosed with schizoeffective(atleast that was the diagnosis they gave me after asking me what my own symptoms were to try to figure out what was going on in my head because they have no idea) I also was raised in an extremely Christian home I even lived with Mennonite family for a while. I have always questioned everything and done my own study of religion and science constantly trying to make sense of it all.
I can only hope that people will have a better understanding of what itās like for us when we have those experiences. That they arenāt just us going crazy in our minds. We are experiencing real things and seeing things weāve never seen before and itās not like we go crazy and start killing people although some people who have mental illness are harmful and I am sure there is another reason or reasons for that difference. I would really like to hear your story more. It just made me feel good to finally see there is another human who went through something similar to me. Atleast what I think from reading. Have you ever had a religious thoughts or experiences during your mania? Have you ever experienced time loss? I even forgot my phone password and tried using an old one that I canāt even remember now months after the events. So many strange unexplained things happened to me during my mania. And everyone who called themselves Christians told me I am demon possessed and they still believe that today. I could keep going but anyway Iām very curious. I really hope you reply I know itās been some time since you posted this.
