Do You Tell People About Your Diagnosis?

No, I don’t really do it until I feel like I can trust the person. I feel much more comfortable telling people on the internet than I do when it comes to people in real life. While my parents didn’t tell me to not tell people about this, I learned my lesson back in 2014. I technically got kicked out and had to attend my school year in an alternative school.

I was a terrible victim of stigma, in my small city, in the midwest, for years.
No longer. The people that are around me today, know nothing.

not unless I really trust the person. I don’t feel anybody needs to know.

Bipolar has a very high stigma attached to it as well, I have found.
