Help in California - Suggestions?

Hello everyone,
My daughter is still being treated at the psychiatric hospital, awaiting transfer to a Psychiatric Treatment center near San Diego.
Although she accepted the LAI and there was improvement right away, it will not become fully effective for up to 30 days. She continues to experience delusions and is refusing additional medication.
She cannot be transferred until she is either med compliant or signs a note promising to be med compliant at the new facility.
Makes no sense to me…if she is delusional, how can they expect her to promise anything??? They also want me to sign…
She is on her second 12 day hold and the hospital can’t keep her if she is not following the program. Once again, holding my breath praying she will either take the recommended medication or sign the paper.
She is So CLOSE to getting the help she has needed for 12 years. I hope this opportunity does not disappear.

Well, the stars were aligned I guess. My daughter has been accepted into a 45 day mental health program.

It was a long, emotional battle to get her to this point and we are not sure if she will comply with the rules as she continues to believe she is not schizophrenic.

She is with others in her situation and hopefully will get some insight into her own illness.

Now to battle the State of California for disability assistance.
