Does anybody know if I had to put my son for long term care 6-8 months and I am LPS conservator could I pick out which facility to place him even if it was out of county?
Interesting question - I’ve never heard of conservatorship where you could place someone in a facility . out of country. I’d be concerned that the laws of your country may not hold any longer after the person gets out of the country. I recommend you call the Treatment Advocacy Center. They have a good staff of lawyers and can likely help you or direct you to the right place.
