Yes, many years ago in the 90’s. I was in a situation where I was so far along in my degree that finishing at another college would be like starting over. Going back to college in your 30’s and 40’s is daunting for anyone. You forget how fast-paced and stressful school is compared to working, but as you age you get more experienced and capable so you can better compensate. Youthful brute force all night studying doesn’t cut it any more.
I also considered getting a second degree and took classes toward it, but after a job change it became less relevant and I dropped the plan. I’ve done other continuing education and workshops.
