OTTAWA — Taxing mental health assessments will only make it harder for Canadians to access much-needed mental health care, says the Canadian Psychological Association.

The assessments are already not covered under by provincial health plans, and the group of Canadian psychologists say any further burden will divert patients from the care they need.

So they are saying that a mental health assessment-same as a physical–would be done away with?
What`s the alternative?
BS!

Psychology appointments are not covered under our provincial/state government health plans and is currently not taxed. They want to tax them.
