OTTAWA — Taxing mental health assessments will only make it harder for Canadians to access much-needed mental health care, says the Canadian Psychological Association.
The assessments are already not covered under by provincial health plans, and the group of Canadian psychologists say any further burden will divert patients from the care they need.
