I so agree with you! The HIPAA Laws prohibit us from helping our son and I feel there is so…much that is lacking in the mental health field. Like you said, they can show you how to physically fix a body, but when it comes to the mind, not enough research has been done to help them and you are left trying to educate yourself with books on the subject, but still feel lost because your not given enough information to know or even begin to know how to help them. What do you suggest on how to educate ourselves to help our son???
