@Love_Hope my son does take medication without missing them but they don’t work 100% for him. However without medication he is completely non functional. Good idea about taking photos.
Yes, it is well documented that stopping and starting medication many times or someone who has untreated psychosis for a long duration most likely will have a poorer outcome and my son is a good example of that. His dad also had untreated bipolar until he was 50 and that as well contributed to his level of disability. But sometimes try as we might we may not have any control over this outcome and a some point we have to accept that it is what it is and do the best we can despite the past.

Extremely interesting to hear your story of change and progress. @Wisdom, is your partner on medication? I DO know that MI can change over time and sometimes as a person gets older, the MI mellows out.
