Author, I know that these events are traumatic but learn to take it a day at a time and recognize the good days. Don’t allow yourself to wait for the next crisis.
It is normal to get overwhelmed when these things happen to our children. The thing I had to learn was this is a marathon. She needs you to take care of yourself and not burn out. Your entire family need you to be kind to yourself. It sounds like your body is trying to tell you something. God bless you guys.

We actually did have a pretty good day today. There was a moment after we finished an echo that she went to a playground and played. Watching her go join the other kids for the first time in more months than I can remember was a golden moment. She blended right in. She only stayed for 20 minutes but it was GOOD! I watched with my heart in my throat filled to the brim with joy. It’s the little moments right?

Absolutely and if you don’t soak them in, they are gone forever. Give her a hug from me. I miss my son so much right now.
