My son participates in one such program. I feel so fortunate to have this program in our area. It began less than a year before my son became ill and has been a lifesaver for us. While he doesn’t take advantage of all its’ offerings (I really wanted him to do the CET) at least he sees the psychiatrist and occasionally his primary clinician. I hope that more communities will develop these first episode programs.
