Hackney mother’s anguish as agencies ‘wash hands’ of son with paranoid schizophrenia who broke down in Dominican Republic
Jesus wept! I keep saying we’ve had great treatment from the NHS but I swear if that was my child I would damn well swing for the so-called carer who took him to the airport!
Let us never forget that it is the sacred, individual right of each person suffering from severe mental illness to be neglected and endangered.
The odd thing is that it isn’t like that in the UK. They are much stricter about actually imposing Community Treatment Orders on patients. I wonder if the health worker concerned is one of the “hearing-voices-is-good/normal” crew.
