Well I wish you all the luck in the world with this @lovemyson - I am not sure but I do think Risperdal Consta is less expensive than Invega Sustenna - but I am not sure. I do know that Risperdal comes in a liquid form as well, not sure if their is a generic liquid form. These meds act differently for everyone, maybe limiting his pill dose of Invega to once daily - this could be more convenient for your son. I have been changing meds lately myself - hopefully things will even out for me soon. my son is still in the hospital. It seems that after this time they took it seriously and realized he needed to be there longer. Of course, the incident that brought him there ended up w/me calling 911 and the he will probably be charged by them for various crimes. We meet w/an attorney this week. Of course, he’s scared to be thinking of going to jail, but we are hopeful he may get into a long term mental health facility, if they even exist.
