While North America has become better at treating disorders than we were in, say, the 1920ā€™sā€¦
We still have so much further to go.

This is a great article written by a mom/caregiver. She nails many points that I totally agree with especially anosognosia, HIPPA type laws, and lack of available involuntary treatment to stabilize the person onto anti-psychotics.
