How to convince someone they need help

Hi - new member here and I hope you can give me some good advice as a parent as I am very worried about my daughter who is 21 who has always refused to get help and has said her behaviour is her quirkiness and when you mention speaking to a therapist she believes they will try and change her and refuses to engage
In the last few years she has shown she is neuro diverse with many OCD, ADHD behaviours, but in the last few months she has shown lots behaviour that we think she has schizophrenia
These include lots of paranoia, lots of violent episodes, which have stopped and now she seems to live in own little world laughing to herself and hasn’t left the house for the last 4 weeks. She will have episodes of strange behaviour and then just click to being fairly normal again an hour later and forget what she was like
Any advice on this from a parent whose been through this would be great and techniques to convince her she needs help
I am wrong in thinking this is schizophrenia? And is there any organisations you can recommend that can help me with this situation?
Thanks in advance

This is the go-to book on dealing with anosognosia: I Am Not Sick, I Don’t Need Help! How to Help Someone Accept Treatment

how did you obtain her other diagnosis would you be able to reach out to that Doctor explain the new symptoms and possibly get her in under another pretense since she doesn’t recognize her illness
A representative from Nami will be helpful they have branches in all 50 states which you can narrow down your local affiliate From the website they will inform you of crisis resources in your area.
Im sorry you are experiencing this right now hope you will find the right resource
If you think she is in psychosis I would call crisis line .

@megmeg’s suggestion is good. NAMI has a Family-to-Family group where you can get support.
