One Tent, Not Two: NAMI’s Future Role In Our Lives

Call me selfish, but I think I have to be a small-tent person.

The reason being, all those other conditions don’t include a lack of insight, and that’s our biggest challenge to getting our family members help. They need all the resources and attention they can get.

I think there’s room for all, but NAMI and other groups need to triage. They need to lobby for those who are suffering the most FIRST, then get to everything else in time.
