im sorry she has to live with no stomach lining. i took about 300 benedryl because of bullying when i was twelve and just slept three days through. i wonder if it messed something up permanently who knows.
You are correct to remind people to consider other options before seeking hospital admission. Usually it is done when families feel there are no other options that will work, and usually they are under a great deal of stress themselves. The financial strain that it could put on the individual is certainly something to consider. But, can’t get water from a rock, if you don’t have it, it will usually eventually get written off.
Calling the police can enormously complicate a situation. You should do it only as a last resort.
