Everyone needs to read this, not the twitter bit, but the bottom link to the treatment advocacy article.
Dr E Fuller Torrey, author of “Surviving Schizophrenia, A Family Manual” - he is considered to be the authority on scz - and his knowledge is what your family members’ psychiatrists will refer to frequently - he wrote this article along with Elizabeth Sinclair.
The article is typical Torrey calling NIMH out on more total bs.
