Has anyone’s loved one gone through the electric shock therapy and if so has it been effective? How long does it last and what are the chances of symptoms returning? Is this a treatment that is something that is manageable or do they eventually refuse this treatment too?
A great forum asset for years, @GSSP had previously posted videos of his daughter talking about her experience and detailing their success. Unfortunately the video links no longer work. Enter electric shock therapy into the search and look for his postings. Her schizophrenia had not responded to traditional meds. I do know that his daughter is doing quite well today, I don’t know if she continues to have treatments.
