Hi all, I was contacted today for an interview but couldn’t participate. Below is the details if you would like to be interviewed. Must be a caregiver for an adult with SCZ (sorry, no minors). They need 5 people. This is not an endorsement or verification of the company so use your in judgement!

I write you from precisioneffect—a healthcare advertising agency based in Boston, MA.

Right now, we’re doing research on schizophrenia and we’re looking for schizophrenia patients or caregivers of patients with schizophrenia to speak with. Our goal is to better understand the challenges of living with schizophrenia so we can better design support tools and materials to help patients and caregivers cope with the day-to-day.

If you are someone who suffers from schizophrenia or a caregiver of a loved one diagnosed with schizophrenia and you’re available 4/9-4/12 for a 1 hour long telephone interview please respond to us via email at precisioneffectResearch@gmail.com. All participants will be compensated for your time $200 honorarium.

I looked into this. David Segarnick PhD : https://www.linkedin.com/in/terravation/

They do ad campaigns, but their platform is heavy research-based and he has published quite a few journal articles, some on schizophrenia. I offered to waive the honorarium, but it sounds like they insist on paying so that doesn’t hurt. These forums have a lot of experience, knowledge, and insight that could help researchers in the area of schizophrenia/parents/caregiving. We are a very specific population that cannot be accessed in many places. I look at it as developments made may help of family member of mine long after I’m gone.
