As I get deeper into becoming a Mental Health advocate, I’m finding all kinds of pieces of information. While I knew about the Mental Health Parity Act, I also knew that it’s mostly not honored by insurance companies - meaning it’s still really hard to get care paid for. I recently discovered this site: https://www.paritytrack.org/. You can check to see how things are going in your state and also GET HELP if care that should be paid for is not being paid for. Thought that made it worth sharing here.
