More computer games: Targeted Cognitive Training

I don’t think this has been posted yet. It’s from Medical News Today.

Article title: This form of brain training may help treat severe schizophrenia . . . with the emphasis on may, no doubt.

Thanks so much for posting this - I do think this is the direction for helping our family members in the future. It’s tremendous news.

How do we find out more about Dr. Light’s research?? This is very promising.

You could try contacting Dr. Light himself. His contact info is here: https://profiles.ucsd.edu/gregory.light.

The author of that article has a page here: https://www.pressrush.com/author/9210520/ana-sandoiu . . . looks like you have to join something in order to email her.

I don’t know how it compares, but there is also a cognitive improvement tool that you can sign up for called BrainHQ. I know of a residential treatment program that recommends this. It is an easy way to get a person started because it can be done from a phone. There are free emails (questions/problems to solve) and full access for a fairly small monthly fee.
