Will he take the pill? Also - I’m not sure if this would help him or not - with the injection I think the dose is actually smaller and less likely to have side effects. My son takes the pill - and he does have insight into his illness now and takes it daily, but the shot is supposed to offer some other benefits.
I let him deal with it. And he didn’t. So he was picked up and escorted back to jail.
I did call the PD and speak with them. They were very nice and explained they noticed right away there was something really wrong… I guess, his paranoid personality came out to play. A mental health evaluation was ordered. A relief of sorts. While he is not dangerous, he has been against meds. He has been coping but the past several weeks things have become increasing hard for him to handle. I did speak to his ex wife and she said late winter is always bad for him. Every crisis has happened in late winter/early spring. Thinking back, she is right, but I never really tied it altogether.
Hopefully they will order something he will agree to comply with.
