My wife was recently diagnosed with schizophrenia and put on medicine. I’ve noticed she seems depressed, anxious, and very concerned about what the voices were telling her. I told her I’m concerned about how she feels and want to make sure the medication isn’t hurting her. I asked her if I could join her next appointment and she would prefer if I don’t. What are family members supposed to do in this situation?
