Bad hygiene often goes along with a mental health issue, as I found out with my daughter. Also weight gain happens with medications. And to make it worse, often the ill person will not see a doctor on their own. I am sorry for your situation, and hope you can find a solution. My daughter’s psychiatrist does teleconference appointments with her now. She has an appointment every 2 months using her tablet. The doctor ordered blood tests and went over her results with her online. I know that her health insurance company offers teleconference appointments with MDs or PAs also. Perhaps teleconference will work for your brother?
