Schizophrenia for Dummies

It’s a good book. Schizophrenia is complicated but they make a lot of it clear and easy to understand. I’ve never heard anyone else recommend it but I read and they cover many aspects of schizophrenia: medication, positive symptoms, negative symptoms, delusions, paranoia, prodromal periods, psychiatrists, therapists etc. If you’re a caregiver new to schizophrenia I would recommend it.

My loved one with schizophrenia has this book and at times read and re-read it when they’re struggling to give them context for their experience. This was their own doing! So it can be a helpful book for all parties.
