We had to go to the justice of the piece to get an order for the police to pick up my son and take him to the hospital. Ware do you live I live in Ontario Canada.

Thank you for your post. I’m finding it really helpful. I’m in the midst of an episode. He was arrested for being delusional outside in the neighborhood and went into the wrong backyard at 1:00 am behind our home with his shirt off. 6-7 cops to get him out of there.I thought for sure they would take him to the psych ward but just arrested and released him. Woke up at home with no memory of any of it. So I took him to the mental hospital here. Once again. He thinks he is fine. Annoyed when I mention what just happened. It’s so confusing in their head and it’s so overwhelming for us to manage.
