Sz and autoimmune disorders

I had an instance of diplopia, then 6 months later suffered my first psychotic break, psychiatric team said it was Sz. What I really have is an autoimmune disorder myasthenia Gravis. MG will remove the neurotransmitter acetylcholine from my central nervous system, I’ll have both physical weakness followed days later by psychiatric symptoms. I have worked very hard with all my doctors, changed neurologist and pdocs and now have an internist, and I’m elated that they’re all working together, my health has greatly improved.

Much better situation than getting rushed to an ER and committed, that really was no help for my health whatsoever.

I’m sharing my story in hopes that perhaps a few of these young people in your hearts is like me, suffering from an undiagnosed autoimmune disease.
