I sometimes try to encourage my daughter by saying things like, “we will get through this”… etc… Today she got mad because when people say things like that to her, she feels like they feel she is crazy or something. I told her I totally understand because I was diagnosed with Lupus once and everyone was looking at me luke I was dying or something. I told her I was sorry and id try harder.
It’s not something she appreciates now, but she might appreciate it eventually in hindsight.
It’s a team effort you know, illness or not, she’s got people on her side. She should know that.
It sounds like your daughter is lucky to have you as her mom. You obviously care a lot about her.
