Carers supporting people wiht schizophrenia – help create new resource.
We are working with the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IoPPN) to undertake a consultation exercise about developing an online (web based) information resource for carers of people with schizophrenia or psychosis. To do this, we will be conducting focus groups in London on the 18th and 28th November and also in South Shields on the 24th November. Our carer focus group poster explains more and the aim is to explore what carers feel would be useful to have in a new online resource for carers of people with psychosis. This research is being funded by the pharmaceutical companies Lundbeck and Otsuka. Participants will be given a £20 shopping voucher as a thank you for your time and any travel expenses will be covered by McPin.
