I thought i’d also share a very pretty picture. (I have ALWAYS loved Covered Bridges all my life) So here is one I found that i thought would bring a smile and a dream to life (for someone out there)
And i thought i’d share a place i went to on a Date a long time ago with a very good man. He took me here on my Birthday one year. It was sooo romantic and beautiful. So if you are ever in the area…you need to go…its stunning at Christmas!!!

We are in Southern California presently (we move cross country regularly).
WHERE IS THE SNOW PEOPLE???
I’ve been in shorts the entire last year…this last December did not “feel” like Christmas! I was so desperate for snow, I put a “snow” screen saver on my desktop!!!
Why am I complaining…have I temporarily forgotten what it is like to have to shovel snow and deal with salt!!
Ooops…where’s my shorts?
I’ve decided to yield to California weather. There are broccoli and tomato starts at the WalMart nursery near me. I’m putting in a balcony garden.
My son sleeps half the day, my husband works so hard he falls onto the couch every night, and my older boy is going through teenage angst.
I need a garden.
My dog needs a garden.
