I have a question, for the family members loved ones that have gotten on meds or whatever has helped them do they remember the delusions? My friend told me once that I could hear his delusions and that people suffering from delusional episodes don’t remember their delusional episodes. It’s been 30 days since he went to a rehab program and after 30 days he is allowed to make phone calls and have visitors. I happened to be at an event 2 weekends ago that he was also at, he invited me to church the next morning and he seemed happy to see me but the guy that’s over the house these guys live in while their in this program said my friend said he wasn’t ready for visitors. Of course that confused me and hurt my feelings and I just wanted to ask about remembering delusions. Thank you all I appreciate any advice or opinions and I’m thankful for this forum!

My daughter does not usually remember her psychosis. I’m not sure if you are impacted with mental health issues or your friend is. If it’s your friend, please try to be supportive and non-judgmental. If it’s you, then take care of yourself and know that there are people that care about you.

My son remembers his delusions, at least some of them, from when he was medicated and unmedicated.
