I’m not sure what mine was…most likely similar to yours, unless part Coyote too…she had a very high pitched yip and song for a big dog (80 lbs) that was more like Coyote than Wolf…I had mine for 6 years but got her full grown and you could tell she had had pups before…so at least 8 years old, maybe more…very very strong dog…could have been a sled dog easily up north.
These pictures are so sad.
Sasha is my second wolf hybrid, they make great pets. My first one was Steele, he was half Alaskan Malamute and half Timber Wolf. He was about 120 pounds. Steele passed away in 2010 at 12 years old.

Yeah Wolves and Wolf hybrids can get real big… I can see the malamute markings on him, but he has the wolf length.
here’s the other one i had but lost her in 011’.
Very nice indeed.
Now i see, yours have way more white than mine…well, not exactly mine, it just comes here in the evening…came a bit earlier today. I back tracked it and discovered it had wandered in from a field leading into woods during the snowstorm…
Look at the biceps and forearm on that thing!
I thought a Snowcat was a snow moving machine?
Pets I used to have.
Baby a street rescue I had for 14 years.
Her adopted baby Brandy who I got from a shelter.
About 20 years ago I went to a shelter and tried to get a beautiful red German Shepherd. I walked him around at the shelter and we got along fine, but another person had wanted him before me, he took him home and the dog nipped at someone so they brought it back to the shelter. I got a call to go in but then the shelter boss said they weren’t releasing the dog because they had to decide whether to put him down or not! Grr. I even offered to sign papers that I would take full responsibility and still wanted the dog. You had to pay a fee to the shelter too which I agreed to do… a couple days later i called back and was told they killed the dog…
made me very upset…there was no reason to kill it! I’ve had nippy dogs before…it wasn’t like he maimed someone, he was just nippy if you got into his space too much, and he would give warning growl first… some people are just mean and don’t understand the dogs language language
he looked just like this
@e_lunaseer I wish you could have gotten that dog. Turns out the adopted baby in the pic, Brandy, was a little nippy too but just as you had mentioned if you got too into her face or if you bothered her Momma when she got old (basically protecting her)
Took my kitty out into the back yard where it is cooler – bit of a heat wave sweeping through and it is inhospitably warm inside our home. She is not impressed with me or the harness.
