Had another win this week, so I wanted to share =)
The other day, my husband was in the living room with my two sons. He was attempting to turn on the tv to find something to watch with them (that’s a win in itself, as my son with schizophrenia was not watching tv at all for a long time) and as he was attempting to turn on the tv with the remote, the tv would blink but then turn off. He tried this a few times before realizing that my son had a second remote, and was using it to turn off the tv every time my husband turned it on.
When he got caught in the act, he laughed and then smirked at my other son who he has not had much interaction with since diagnosis. It made everyone’s day, but especially my husband and son who were able to experience seeing a glimpse of happiness.
Tell me yours!!

One of my favorite moments ever was when we, (me, Mike and his brother) were watching a soccer game on tv. Mike loved soccer and his brother would come over to watch with us every on Saturdays and every time the national team played.
They made an announcement that caused all 3 of us to bust out laughing at the same time- it was bliss.

I can only imagine how amazing that felt seeing your son engaging with your family. Congratulations.
