What type of support do you find valuable?

All of the above are valuable for me.

I need and use all four of those. In almost that exact order.

All but support groups -

That pic sums it up. I think my psychologist is very important…he explains things in terms that I can understand. He informs me as to what is going on in my head and what I can do about it. I would still be confused about lots of things if he hadn’t explained them to me.

I don’t go to support groups. I don’t think there are any in my area. My psychiatrist and therapist aren’t very good, but that’s what you get with Medicaid. This forum, and other information you can find online are very important. My friends are supportive of me, and that makes a world of difference. My parents try to be supportive of me now, but when I was growing up, they were very abusive, so that’s hard to reconcile.

In my case, my doctor is my support; In my country there is no support groups.
