Hi all,
I am reaching out on behalf of a global pharmaceutical company who is looking for participants for an advisory board meeting in Cambridge MA on March 6th, 2020. The company is interested in deepening its understanding of the burden of negative symptoms and cognitive impairment associated with schizophrenia on the lives of care partners and people living with the condition. Negative symptoms include: lack of facial expression, no or inappropriate emotional reactions, social withdrawal, and/or a lack of energy. Cognitive impairment includes difficulty understanding information, trouble with memory, and/or trouble with attention.
Participants must be aged 18 years or older, and:
- The primary care partner of someone living with schizophrenia whose positive symptoms are well managed but experiences negative symptoms and/or cognitive impairment; OR
- A professional caregiver in a residential setting working with and supporting those living with schizophrenia for more than three years
