I totally agree that you are not a psychopath. They do not have feeling for others like you do your mom and family. You are seeing a psychiatrist, but are you seeing a therapist or counselor where you can openly tell them everything thats bothering you? What a hard and brave thing you’ve done by reaching out. Keep reaching. There will be someone for you. You are NOT alone .
I am not doing too well very high anxiety and I would like to see a counselor when I am doing better. Last month I did see a psychiatrist twice and a counselor once. Thank you I appreciate it!
@Onetreehill…im saddened that you are suffering…but I must say that turning to psychiatric services for help is a sign of strength not weakness…you should contact your doctor and get a referral to see a pdoc
your parents would be devastated if you commited suicide…suicide is never the answer…YOU must contact mental health services and get the help you need…my own son first started seeing a psychiatrist at 22 and he is doing well now, as a parent I was proud of him for dismissing stigma and facing up to his problems
I have my family for support, but I don’t want to cause them stress again you know. I understand I have only had thoughts of suicide I could never go through with it. That is good that your son sought help. Currently I am seeing a psychiatrist so I should be better in a month or a few months. Thank you!
