That’s a good idea, After the sz.admin announced he was closing the forums another member of the schizophrenia forum (the other forum) got a new forum up and running and created a gofundme page and raised enough funds to run the website for a year. Also, he started a Patreon account and some members set themselves up to make monthly donations.
May I ask what is the name of the medicine in the “new shot" so I can research it for my son?

So far he is doing good with this injection, once every 3 months.
I’m so glad to hear this; I know sometimes I’ve been absent for a while but I love this forum, it’s like a refuge to me where I can find support and in a way comfort on those days when I’ve been kind of ‘frozen’ not been able to move forward during my loved one’s crisis; I have found familiarity when I wanted to understand more of the reality of everyday living with schizophrenia and taking from the example from others for coping and hoping. Not every story has a happy ending, there’s so much more to learn; I’ve participated on 3 sessions on the F2F NAMI classes and I have found this forum even more helpful. I Thank the persons who have considered to step up to have the forum open for us caregivers. I thank you for initiating this great support for our families. May all the families find the strength and support to face the challenges of caregiving in this forum positive.
