Yes, the owner said all forums will close at the end of December. Given how little traffic this forum gets, it’s not surprising. The owner should be commended for having dedicated himself to this cause for so long. I’ve gotten a lot of support from it when I needed it most, and hope I’ve provided some as well. There are alternatives out there but for many of us it’s hard to start over in an unfamiliar place.

I’d like to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone whose journeys led them here. You’ve helped more than you know. I will be forever grateful to have been part of this forum. My thanks, too, to the owner, who provided a safe place for us to gather and share our stories, tears, and hopes.

On the diagnosed forum we have a member who started a new discourse schizophrenia support forum (and paid for it) where many of our members are migrating to. I would suggest that someone here start a new parents/caregiver forum where the current members can all gather except that this forum gets so little traffic that it might not be financially feasible. The other forum has many people posting, every day and they started a GoFundMe to pay for it and members are already volunteering to make donations to keep it running.
